BERKS CAREER AND TECHNOLOGY CENTER

The Berks Career and Technology Center (BCTC) is a three (3) year accredited program offering 40 career programs in seven (7) career areas and five (5) technical academies with Reading Area Community College and Bloomsburg University.  Students in grades 10, 11, and 12 attend on a half day basis taking required academic courses at Oley Valley High School, while attending BCTC for their career and technical program.  Senior students who demonstrate a high level of competency in their program may participate in a supervised work-based learning experience.

APPLICATION PROCESS - Students apply for enrollment  through the Guidance Office in October of each year.  Applications are submitted by the Guidance Office and to be considered for their first round selection process must be on file at BCTC by December 15.
